As tourism revives in 2022, digital distribution and innovation transform travel and experiences. Safir Hotels & Resorts, the first Kuwaiti-based Hospitality Management Company, was proud to participate as an exhibitor at the 29th Arabian Travel Market forum 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC), sharing their core tenant “True Arabian Hospitality,” reflected through the design of their booth and welcoming ambiance. True to the forum’s new slogan, “Reigniting the Travel Industry,” ATM Dubai 2022 witnessed record-breaking numbers and strong vibes for the future of Hospitality, travel, and tourism. The show had more than 23,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors to share insights into the future of international travel and tourism.
In addition to the physical event, a virtual version of the exhibition was held from May 17-18, 2022. The forum witnessed the participation of representatives from over 150 countries sharing experiences of the industry’s leading voices and brightest minds in the Middle East to explore and define the new future for in-destination experiences in 2022 and beyond. Our team also visited the ATM Global Stage and the Travel Tech conferences to learn about and harness travel’s most dynamic sector trends.
The Safir delegation of 15 colleagues from 4 countries (Kuwait, Egypt, Oman & Syria) was led by Mr. Fawzi Al-Musallam, CEO of the company. All recognized the importance of the forum as an ideal platform for promoting the company and the announcement of the company expansion plan in the Middle East and North Africa.
One of the essential topics highlighted at the forum was showcasing the uniqueness of Safir’s new brand instilling the essence of what True Arabian Hospitality is. Other topics highlighted included Safir’s ambitious development plan across the MENA region and the company’s plans to appraise its existing hotels by the latest global trends and technologies to keep pace with competitiveness and guest satisfaction.
